I organize my bookmarks by categories, but I also have this unsorted bookmarks folder where I keep everything I can’t categorize or that I mean to read later or that I’m too lazy to categorize at the time of bookmarking. This means that I rarely read any of them later and that I have to scroll forever in order to find something that I remember later. You’d think the search function would solve all problems, but not if the URL or the title is very descriptive. Like searching for a pumpkin spice latte recipe and forgetting that the title is “love in a cup” and then being angry at Chrome but also myself for naming it something so weird and not at all pumpkin-like and then feeling mildly triumphant when I do find it/remember the non-pumpkin name.
I also use this unsorted folder as a kind of history, I guess. A history that, when examined, becomes a total timesink.
I have been doing other things, really.
